As today comes to an end I can’t help but think that I’m
ready for Gods next adventure in my life. I’m not the best writer, I misspell
words more than not, and most of the time I’m politically incorrect. Of course I
would have the smart idea to start writing a blog. For everyone out there who
love to point out everything wrong, please feel free to. I'm always up for learning new things. If anyone who doesn't know me that well and is reading this let me tell you a little bit about my self. My name is Kelsey Shrum. I am from Yukon, Oklahoma and I am 22 years old. In January of this year I was diagnose with Epilepsy. It has been a huge adventure in my family, friends, and coworkers life. I have good days and bad days. I'm working harder everyday to be back to my "normal" self. In the process I have had friends come and go out of my life. I have learned that if someone can not handle my worse then they do not deserve me at my best. I have also learned a lot about my self. I know I have a long road ahead of me with hospital stays and doctor appointments. I thought maybe writing would help and also let my love ones know a little more of what's going on. As of right now my next step is going to be staying in the hospital for 5 days to do a recorded study. We are hoping to capture a seizure on film. This will happen starting October 13th. In this blog I will talk about more things than just epilepsy. If you are up for the ride get your cowboy hats and hold on. I'm excited to see how this goes. Well.... until next time. Thank you for reading!
