Are you my Mother?

I have noticed the older that I get the more I look like my mom. I have always had people tell me that I look like her but now I'm having complete strangers come up to me and ask if my mom works at the tag agency. My mom is one of the bravest people I know. She has put up with a lot when it comes to my sister and I. My sister acts just like her and I look like her and act like my dad. You know that had to be fun raising us. If you know my mom then you know she will always tell you what she thinks even if you asked for her opinion or not. She has wiped away my tears and made me feel better when I was sick. She has stuck by my side and watched me go through all of God's journeys that he has sent me through. She has got on to me when I messed up and showed me how to fix my mistakes. I am truly blessed to have a mom who loves me and takes care of me. The older I get I also notice how many kids don't have a mother. This is something very hard for me to swallow. In my little world I have a lot moms. Women who have just volunteered to be good role models for me and love me by choice. I can't imagine growing up not having my mom who took me shopping, helped me memorize lines for a play, listen to me sing all through out the day, encourage me to keep smiling, feed me, ask me whats wrong, and all of the small things that most of the time I don't think about. I'm not afraid to say that I am spoiled! I love my mom more than I could ever explain. I could never repay her for all of the thing she has taught me or actually bought me. If I could take in every child who didn't have a mom, or even a parent, I would!! My Dad has always said if kids where like homeless dogs we would have a ton of them! I know we all have our own little worlds but today I ask for you to pray for these kids who do not have a mom to take care of them and love them like I have been so incredibly blessed with. God answers BIG prayers!! Don't be afraid to pray for something that you don't think could happen. Have you told your mom that you love her? Appreciate her? Miss her? Something to think about…. No matter who your "mom" might be make sure they know how much they mean to you!
